Accessibility
This site should work for everyone.
Putting the person first includes the person using this website. People First Behavioral Health Alliance is committed to making pfbha.org accessible to people with disabilities, whatever technology they use to browse.
Conformance
This website conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. The site was audited against WCAG 2.2 AA and remediated in July 2026, using a combination of automated testing (axe) and manual review — keyboard navigation, screen-reader behavior, color contrast, motion controls, and focus management.
What that looks like here
Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators; text alternatives for meaningful images; sufficient color contrast throughout; animations that pause and respect reduced-motion preferences; forms with clear labels, error handling, and status announcements for assistive technology; and semantic HTML structure throughout. The site is built with standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and works without JavaScript for all core content.
